UPV Quality Assurance

Two faculty members from the University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) participated in the 28th ASEAN University Network–Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Training Course for Accomplishing Programme Assessment (Tier 1) last 10-13 March 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Dr. Johannes Magpusao, dean of the School of Technology and Atty. Christopher Honorario, dean of the College of Management attended the Tier 1 training which aimed to describe the AUN-QA program assessment process, explain AUN-QA criteria for programme assessment, apply the AUN-QA requirements to an academic program, and perform a gap analysis for program improvement. The participation of Dr. Magpusao and Atty. Honorario highlights UPV’s continued commitment to quality assurance. They are added to the growing pool of AUN-QA-trained faculty members and staff in UPV.
